As if the inclement weather isn’t enough to just ruin your day, you’ve just received your W-2 forms from your employer. Yes….Tax Time is here once again. Maybe some of you actually look forward to this time of year, anxious and eager to gather last year’s records, sharpen your Number 2 pencils, blow dust off that adding machine you’ve had since 1992 and get started with the number crunching.
For most of us, however, it’s a painful chore to itemize deductions, download Turbo Tax or schedule an appointment with H& R Block, only to discover you owe the IRS even more of your hard-earned dough. Making Time To Get Organized
I’ve been feeling really good all week! Apparently a lot of readers really enjoyed last week’s article detailing my second-grade daughter’s desire to get her room organized while helping others in our community. Hello again, Horizon Goodwill readers! I haven’t posted in awhile, but to say it’s been a bit busy since my last article is a tremendous understatement. My family and I celebrated our first Holiday Season at our new address since moving from Pittsburgh earlier this summer, and I must admit, it’s been quite hectic. Relatives from out of town came to visit, multiple school pageants were held, neighborhood parties celebrated and we experienced our first Berkeley County ice storm.
