Our Career Development Services and Job Training Programs look at the whole person, recognizing that an individual’s success in the workplace is directly related to their ability to adapt to the challenges of daily life. Goodwill does more than just help individuals find jobs. Our programs and services are designed to identify and build on your work skills and interests to help you pursue a fulfilling future. We work closely with you to help you identify your potential, your dreams, and your goals, as well as the support you will need to get there. We help prepare you for participation in the world of work and match your skills and abilities with community and employer needs. We offer post-employment support to assist you in maintaining employment and exploring your own career and personal development opportunities.

Discover
Discover your strengths through guided assessment. Using formal and informal assessments, we will help you discover your skills, strengths, and interests. We will build upon your strengths, as well as identify areas to improve or strengthen.
Build
Build upon those strengths with skills training. Now that we know your skills, strengths, interests, and areas to improve or strengthen, we will create a training plan with goals to address your individual needs. You will learn where to look for work and how to present yourself at interviews.
Search
Search for jobs that match your interests and abilities. At this point, you have all the skills and support necessary to enter the workforce. During this phase, we will assist you in your job search by offering you job leads and helping you track your job search efforts.
Support
Receive encouragement, supports, and assistance as you enter the world of work. Congratulations! You have found employment! We will assist you in dealing with problems that may arise on the job, encourage you, and ensure you know Goodwill is here and ready to support you as you transition into the workforce.
