HMP Equipment Certification Training

Heavy Metal Playground offers a 120-hour, 3-certification, OSHA-compliant heavy equipment training course. Our instructors are certified trainers, and students receive certifications in Excavator Operation and Safety, Advance Trench Digging, and Skid Steer Operations and Safety. Plus, students will participate in our Task/Job Simulation week, where we create real-life on-the-job scenarios.  The course includes classroom time and lots of hands-on training.

Forklift Certification

Goodwill’s Forklift training course helps participants quickly gain the skills and certifications they need to operate a forklift in a professional setting. Our Forklift training course provides OSHA and NIOSH training definitions and instruction in lift truck design, vehicle safety inspection, moving with and without a load, and picking and stacking a load. Special conditions involving trailers, ramps, elevators, and pedestrian safety are also addressed. Goodwill’s Forklift training course utilizes training videos, a participant workbook, and standardized testing. The course includes first-hand driving, lifting and stacking, and a final driving test.
