We’ve recently promoted a few employees and wanted to take the time to highlight their successes!
Sandy Benbow: Assistant Processing Supervisor
Sandy has been with HGI for 1 year and has served as pre-sort lead at corporate center. Her promotion takes her from leading a single department to leading the whole processing team which is comprised of seven departments – pre-sort, sorting, hanging, tagging, wares, electrical/mechanical, and salvage. A great team player, Sandy will play an instrumental role in our Kaizen Event scheduled for September, as we continually work to improve our operations.
Linda Vailati
Linda has served as sales associate in our Romney, WV store for the past seven years. When our former manager left to be closer to family, Linda saw an opportunity and applied for the Manager position. We saw an opportunity to promote from within. As a dedicated employee with a long term history with the store, Linda’s knowledge of the community and her great customer service skills will serve her well as manager.
Linda Cunningham
Linda has only been with us for a little over a month, but when the former manager decided to retire, Linda applied for the Manager position. Linda has experience in another thrift store environment and has management experience in banking as well. Linda is excited about the opportunity to serve in this new capacity, and we are excited for her!
