HGI In Public Forum
Horizon Goodwill team members joined the discussion yesterday at the public forum about downtown Hagerstown with fellow organizations, residents and businesses. We are excited to work with our community partners to expand services at our Prospect Street Resource Center that include job-readiness training and job placement assistance. Our Young Adult Solution Center, for ages 18-24, also recently opened at this location and includes access to technology, classroom space and creative art space.
Opening of the Young Adult Solution Center
The grand opening of the Young Adult Solution Center was a success! We would like to thank everyone who came out and supported this amazing event. About 60 people representing clients, partner agencies and elected officials were on hand to celebrate the program.
Horizon Goodwill’s Young Adult Solution Center is a drop in location open to any Washington County Young Adult 18-24 who is struggling to transition into adulthood. The Herald Mail covered a great story about this day and about the program. Click here to read the article
