Effective March 1, 2026, Horizon Goodwill Industries is updating the Horizon Rewards points expiration policy. This update helps ensure the long‑term sustainability of the program while continuing to provide meaningful value to our loyalty members.
What’s Changing?
- Transition Period for Existing Points
All Horizon Rewards points earned on or before March 1, 2026 will expire on:
September 1, 2026
This applies regardless of when those points were originally earned.
- New Rolling Expiration for Points Earned Going Forward
Beginning March 2, 2026:- All newly earned Horizon Rewards points will expire 180 days (6 months) after the date they are earned.
- Points will be tracked on a rolling basis, meaning each point expires individually based on when it was earned.
What’s Staying the Same>
Nothing else about Horizon Rewards is changing:
- You still earn 1 point for every $1 spent in‑store.
- New members still receive 50 points for signing up and 50 points for completing their profile.
- Every 100 points = $5 off a future purchase.
- You can continue to track your point balance and rewards anytime through your Horizon Rewards account.
Why Are We Making This Change?
This update helps keep Horizon Rewards sustainable over time while ensuring rewards remain meaningful and available to active shoppers. Our goal is to balance fairness to our customers with responsible program management, so Horizon Rewards remains a benefit you can count on.
What You Need to Do
- Be sure to use any points earned on or before March 1, 2026 by September 1, 2026.
- Going forward, we encourage members to redeem points within 6 months of earning them.
We’ll continue to make it easy to check your point balance and stay informed about your rewards.
