Horizon Market Community Open House
Wednesday night, we opened Horizon Market’s doors, amid construction and all, to welcome downtown Hagerstown inside its future grocery store. Neighbors came through for refreshments, music, and interactive table stations designed to do one thing: listen.
Horizon Market isn’t just about ending downtown Hagerstown’s food desert status. It’s about building a store that actually works for the people who’ll shop there, which means asking them what matters most, whether that’s pricing, convenience, hours, or product selection.

Help Us Build a Store for the Community
Horizon Market is designed for everyone. Customers of all income levels are welcome to shop, and the store will be stocked through wholesalers and other vendors, rather than relying on donated products.
