Something new is coming to downtown Hagerstown, and we want the community to be part of it from the very beginning.
Horizon Market is a full-service grocery store being developed to bring fresh food and household staples to downtown Hagerstown. Its vision is simple: improve access to affordable, fresh food for the whole community.
Now, we’re inviting you to get a first look at the future space and meet the people helping bring that vision to life.

The event is free and open to the community. During the open house, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Tour the future Horizon Market space and get a sneak peek before the store opens.
- Meet the people behind Horizon Market and learn more about the vision for the store.
- Ask questions and share your ideas about what you would like to see at Horizon Market.
- Help shape the store by providing feedback about products, hours, and services

Help Us Build a Store for the Community
Horizon Market is designed for everyone. Customers of all income levels are welcome to shop, and the store will be stocked through wholesalers and other vendors, rather than relying on donated products.
The goal is to create a grocery store that works for the people who live, work, and visit downtown Hagerstown. That means your input matters.
At the open house, we want to hear from you. What products would you like to see on the shelves? What hours would be most convenient? What would make Horizon Market a grocery store you want to visit?
Your feedback can help shape everything from what we stock, to when we’re open, and how the store serves the community.
